At Transform Quebec, we desire to see the message of God’s love inspire Christians, churches and organizations across Quebec to work together for the common good in each sector of society in our cities and regions.
Approach
Many of the charities and values that we take for granted in our society today are in fact the fruit of work accomplished by Christian groups, individuals, churches and organizations who throughout history, had the advancement of the common good in society at the heart of their mission.
Mission
Transform Quebec calls on churches and Christians to rediscover this zeal to reflect God’s love through involvement and accountability in the face of current issues and challenges in Quebec society today.
Roots
Roots
Prayer, Unity, Gospel
To optimize the positive impact in its region, we believe that the Church must be rooted in prayer, in the Gospel and in unity, now more than ever.
Trunk

Churches
We believe that the churches of Quebec should be models of positive leadership, healthy culture and safe communities anchored in the message of Christ.

Training
We believe that Christians in Quebec must be trained to aspire to the likeness of Jesus, who did not come to judge but to love, forgive and heal what is broken. We believe that this training should translate into each sphere of a Christian’s life: home, work, church and civic duties.

Spheres of society
We believe that each sphere of society has an important role to play in optimizing the development and well-being of its region. This is why we believe that God calls every believer to use their gifts and talents with wisdom, dedication and excellence within their own sphere of influence.
Leaves
LEAVES
We believe that the proactive involvement of Christians and churches will help build healthier, more prosperous cities and communities, whether in terms of the economy, health, education, family life, arts, culture, development, environment, and individual laws and freedoms.

FRUIT
We also believe that this mobilization of Christians and churches will have the effect of producing a spiritual awakening in the hearts of Quebecers as they discover God’s love for them.
INSTIGATOR OF MUCH, OWNER OF LITTLE
The idea behind Transform Quebec is not to claim to be the solution to the challenges of the regions of Quebec, but rather to promote collaboration, exchange and synergy around common action plans among different organizations, churches, individuals and actors in our society.
We dream to witness our society moving forward from an interconnected and holistic perspective rather than from individualism and working « solo ».
Transform Quebec will participate in identifying specific needs and in turn create initiatives to address them. However, the goal will remain for organizations, individuals, churches or the population of the region to take ownership of these projects and make them viable in the long term.
Initiatives
Here are some of the initiatives we have helped to create.
GLS
Global Leadership Summit
Partners: LEADERIMPACT, GLOBAL LEADERSHIP NETWORK
The Global Leadership Summit brings together leaders from all over the world eager to advance in performing their responsibilities: entrepreneurs, managers, teachers, pastors, team leaders, etc.
Inspired by leadership based on Christian values, the GLS is an annual conference featuring influential leadership that helps transform lives and organizations in which leaders are involved. The event is an invitation to learn from experienced people and to use this leadership position to have a significant positive impact for the advancement of the common good in society.
6KM for Water
6km for Water
Partners: WORLD VISION, THE FACULTY OF MEDICINE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF SHERBROOKE
Six kilometers is the average distance traveled by women and children in the developing world to access water. This water is often unsafe for drinking and causes illness or even death.
Each year, World Vision organizes a six-kilometer fundraising race to help these women and children and their families by digging drinking water wells in their villages.
Since the first 6K Run in Estrie in 2019, we have teamed up with the University of Sherbrooke faculty of medicine and the Axe21 church to organize the event in our region.
Light Stops
Light Stops
Partners: CHURCHES ACROSS QUEBEC
At Halloween, the Light Stops initiative encourages people to make their home a welcoming place that creates a spirit of community, sharing, mutual aid, generosity, joy and safety for families in the various neighbourhoods and districts of our cities!
At these Light Stops, passing families find a welcoming space, warm people, treats, hot drinks, food, access to bathrooms and a place to warm up.
Sport Camps
Sports Camps
Partners: ATHLETES IN ACTION
Activities for the youth Val-du-Lac youth centre have been limited in the context of the pandemic and for the summer period. This is why, thanks to collaboration with Athletes in Action, a five-week sports camp was organized in the summer of 2021.
Since the camp had such a positive impact on these youth, we were delighted for the sports sessions to continue on a weekly basis at the centre !
Convergence Congress
Convergence Congress
Partners: POWER TO CHANGE, CONVERGENCE QUÉBEC
The Convergence Congress is an initiative aiming at addressing hot topics with a perspective of how to integrate faith into everyday life.
The latest edition of the event was broadcast simultaneously to group gatherings across Quebec. We had the joy of reflecting, conversing and collaborating together for the common good of our region. The theme of the congress was depolarization and our need to respect one another despite divergent perspectives.
