Doan Hoa Do
Doan Hoa Do is a cardiologist at CHUS and an associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine at the Université de Sherbrooke. Passionate about teaching and student development, he led the cardiology teaching unit from 2008 to 2017 and received several awards for excellence in teaching, including the Université de Sherbrooke’s institutional recognition award. Committed to his community, he has contributed for many years to various mobilization and development initiatives, including the Global Leadership Summit and the “6K Run for Water” initiative in collaboration with World Vision. Deeply motivated by his faith, he seeks to live it out concretely through his work, relationships, and service to others.
Sylvain Turgeon
Sylvain is an entrepreneur, administrator, and strategic advisor. A former entrepreneur in the insurance brokerage sector and former officer in the Canadian Armed Forces, he has expertise in governance, business strategy, and organizational development. His career has led him to serve as president of the RCCAQ and to sit on several boards of directors, including that of the Faculty of Administration at the Université de Sherbrooke. Active in his community, he also plays a leadership role within his church. He is the author of the book "La lumière de l’ombre" and holds an Executive MBA from the Université de Sherbrooke.
Paula Maurin
Starting her career in the financial sector, Paula Maurin redirected her path toward law. Since 2021, she has been working at a renowned private law firm in Quebec, where she practices general civil liability and civil litigation.
Having become a lawyer in 2023, she uses her legal skills in the service of justice and counsel.
Committed to social involvement, she has actively contributed to various non-profit organizations.
Bertrand Eustache
Bertrand is a CPA with extensive experience in financial management, governance, and organizational development within international organizations. Known for his people-centered and pragmatic approach, he stands out for his ability to mobilize teams and guide change through collaboration and strategic vision. A committed entrepreneur, he is particularly interested in sustainable development, mentoring, and supporting the next generation. Involved with young adults for many years, he also integrates a deep spiritual dimension into his personal and professional engagement.
Donald Caron
An entrepreneur and project developer in the agri-food, agricultural, and environmental sectors, Donald has contributed for many years to the growth of businesses focused on production, processing, and resource optimization, with a sustainable and people-centered vision. His expertise in governance, financing, and strategic development has led him to become actively involved in organizations focused on community impact. Engaged in pastoral and community work, he believes that faith can be rediscovered at the very heart of our workplaces, communities, and everyday realities.
Andrew Smits
Andrew Smits is the Director for Power to Change – Students. Together with his wife Loni, he was part of the team that initiated the organization’s work in Montreal in 2003. Today, Power to Change – Students works with over ten college and university campuses across the province. Power to Change focuses its efforts on two main axes: evangelism and training disciples. Andrew is responsible for keeping the entire team focused on the mission: to change the world by helping students discover Jesus.
